Every Woman Needs This Blazer in Her Closet
For those of you who didn’t know, I work at INDOCHINO, a men’s made-to-measure suit company. Every day, I go into work and examine, measure, and tailor men’s suits which can sometimes be a lot of structure and masculinity for one girl! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love and value a structured, clean-cut blazer/trouser combo. However, that cannot be all I have in my wardrobe. On occasion, I prefer a soft, more feminine silhouette. Think less shoulder padding and canvas, and more flowy fabrics with a bit less edge to them.
This blazer that I got from Dynamite recently is a great balance between a masculine and feminine fit. It’s got enough of a shape to make you look perfectly put together, but the shoulders are softer for a womanly, ladylike appearance. Style it as a separate with jeans and a white tank like I did, or with the matching pants for a cute matching set look (pssst… they’ve got pockets! 10/10 would recommend)! Pair the jacket or matching set with some casual runners for a laid back vibe, or with some cute mules or heeled booties to dress it up a little. However you style it, wear it with CONFIDENCE, girl.
Do you prefer a structured or flowy fit? And what are your fave transitional pieces for fall? It’s starting to get super cold here, so this blazer won’t cut it for much longer! Oh no!
