The Outfit You'll Want to Wear on Your Next Flight
By the time this post goes live, I will already be on my way to Florida, to board a cruise bound for the Caribbean! This will be my second solo trip with Adrian, and we are both really excited to go away.
Whenever I travel, whether it is to a relaxing resort or a touring and sightseeing vacation, I always make sure that I dress comfortably for the flight. As someone who hates the process of getting to their destination (but loves the end result), I need to be sure that the trip runs as smoothly as possible. That means no wardrobe malfunctions, no taking 15 minutes after security to put my shoes back on, and no sitting uncomfortably in tight pants for a 10 hour flight.. (because I've done that before and it was AWFUL). In order to be 100% confident in my ability to endure our plane ride, I always plan my outfit in advance.
The cropped hoodie I'm wearing was a gift from Adrian for Christmas. I'm obsessed with it and honestly have only taken it off to wash it. It goes so well with everything, including these comfy compression leggings from Victoria's Secret. Their workout wear has definitely become a staple in my wardrobe! These guys have pockets, so naturally they are included in my current workout leggings rotation! Anything that can hold more than just a key or maybe my lip balm (how workout leggings normally work) is perfect in my books.
Under the hoodie, I have been wearing my fave white Calvin Klein bralette. As previously stated, comfort is key, so if I can avoid wearing any tight bra bands on my flight I WILL. I also love pairing this outfit with my Steve Madden slip ons. They are black so they go with any of the outfits I've already packed for the trip, and they slide on and off easily to save me some time at security. And to top it all off, I threw on my "Love Yourself" bomber jacket from Forever 21 (no longer in stock..). This jacket was MADE to travel because it is warm enough to get me to and from the airport, but light enough that it folds up smaller to fit into my carry-on bag.
What do you like to wear when you travel? Is comfort or style more important to you? Or maybe you won't sacrifice either like me! Let me know in the comments.
